Best Assault Legends in Apex Legends – Ranked (Season 17)

[ad_1]

Apex Legends characters are split into different classes, each with unique abilities on top of every character’s special abilities. The Assault class has the ability to access hidden loot inside red weapon supply bins for high-value weapon attachments and can also carry an extra stack of ammo in each inventory slot. The Assault class is perfect for doing high weapon damage and equipping your team with the best gear, but what Legend from the Assault class should you choose? Here are the best Assault Legends in the game during Season 17.

6. Revenant

Revenant has the lowest average pick rate out of every Legend for high-ranked players due to his skill set not being very viable in battle royale. Revenant’s abilities just don’t stack up to other Legends, partially due to most Legends having better Passive and Ultimate Abilities.

Revenant’s Passive allows him to climb higher and walk faster while crouched, but the climbing is not useable most of the time. His Tactical can be effective but falls short in terms of utility among the Assault Legends. Revenant’s Death Totem is very loud and can be countered fairly easily, so Revenant is widely considered the worst Assault Legend.

5. Fuse

Fuse can be a difficult Legend to face due to his zoning damage abilities, but his downside is that his abilities are completely focused on damage, and in competitive games, he can be outmatched by Legends with movement or utility abilities.

Fuse’s Tactical and Ultimate Abilities can be very effective in trapping enemies and doing damage, or even finishing them off. However, movement Legends can counter him by avoiding his Abilities and overwhelming him when on cooldowns. Fuse has one of the lowest pick rates in high ranks, so he often does not measure up to the other Assault Legends.

4. Ash

Ash doesn’t rank very high in the top player meta, perhaps due to her abilities being good, but not the best for team comp. Ash’s abilities also do not mesh perfectly with the Assault Legend abilities, so she struggles a little bit in high levels of play.

Ash’s Tactical can slow down enemies, while her Ultimate allows her team a quick exit from a location. Ash’s Passive can also be used to find enemies from fallen banners, but the other Assault Legends have more viable Passives.

3. Mad Maggie

Mad Maggie is a good Assault Legend due to how her abilities work with the Assault class abilities. Mad Maggie players can be highly effective with shotguns and can chip away at enemy health even behind cover.

Mad Maggie’s Tactical is a very effective tool for forcing enemies out of cover or finishing off enemies as they attempt to heal behind cover. Her Passive is also extremely strong, as it allows her to highlight enemies she has damaged and also gives her a speed buff while holding a shotgun. Her Ultimate can be very useful to the team and can leave enemies stunned and vulnerable to being rushed.

2. Bangalore

Bangalore is widely considered one of the best Legends in the game and boasts a very high top-player meta win rate. Bangalore’s abilities combine movement, utility, and damage very well, and her abilities can be very helpful during any firefights, especially end-games.

Bangalore’s Tactical can be used to cover areas in smoke, eliminating enemy sight on Bangalore and her team. Combined with her Passive enabling a speed buff when fired upon, she can get out of tough situations better than most Legends. Her Ultimate can cause damage to enemies and potentially trap them in an area, which is very useful during the last circles.

1. Ballistic

Season 17 Legend Ballistic was released with an extremely powerful skill set that meshes very well with the Assault Legend abilities. His abilities are mostly focused on weapon utility and debuffing enemies, which makes him a perfect Assault Legend.

Ballistic’s Passive gives him the ability to hold three weapons, which can be great for any situation, especially utilizing the third weapon for his Ultimate. Ballistic’s Ultimate is very useful in team comp, as it allows him to grant himself and his teammates a speed buff and unlimited ammo for a short period of time. On top of that, Ballistic’s sling weapon will turn gold, which can be overpowered when using certain weapons with hop-ups. Ballistic’s Tactical can also be devastating if used correctly and will render enemies helpless against a rush. All together, Ballistic is hard to counter and can engage enemies and overwhelm them in many situations.
