Leveling your character to paragon levels is important for all players of Diablo 4. Going through the campaign did give me a boost in levels but only carried me so far because I finished it before reaching level 50. Diablo franchise has been known for its farming locations, which are places known to be optimal for farming items and levels. Champions Demise is one place to farm to your heart’s content! Let’s find out how to find it and why it is so good!
How to find the Champions Demise Dungeon Location in Diablo IV
To find the Champions Demise Dungeon in Diablo 4, go to the Untamed Scarps in the Dry Steppes region of the map. The closest city of reference is Jirandai, located southwest of the dungeon. Since Diablo 4’s world is fully open, you can even run straight to it while still in Act 1. Simply right-click the dungeon’s approximate location on the map, and shake a leg until you find it.

Champions Demise Dungeon Guide in Diablo IV
Once you enter the Champions Demise Dungeon in Diablo 4, you will see a branch locked out by the red torrent. Beyond that threshold is Khazra Abomination, the dungeon boss. You must place three circular stones on their pedestals to unlock this passage. You can obtain stones by searching through the dungeon at the end of each branching path, guarded by large mobs and multiple elites.
Thus we have come to the part that makes this dungeon such a popular leveling location, at least until you unlock Nightmare Dungeons. Large mobs of enemies are packed closely together and in tight groups, making farming them all in quick succession a breeze. Be sure you already have a good build to ensure your survivability in the dungeon or have someone back you up so you don’t get overrun by waves of enemies. There is a Shrine to boost your fighting power down each of the paths, making the farming endeavor even faster. During my first run, I’ve come upon a Greed shrine, which hasn’t blessed me with too much killing power, but it did bless my wallet, so I wasn’t complaining!
Beating the Champions Demise Dungeon boss in Diablo IV
Once you have all three stones sitting on their respective pedestals in the Champions Demise Dungeon in Diablo 4, the way to the dungeon boss will open. At the other side of the threshold, you will be greeted by Khazra Abomination, a giant mutated khazra. The boss will fight in melee, using a swipe attack and a ground pound which creates an AoE effect, poisoning you. Upon defeating Khazra Abomination, you will get the following loot:
- Gold
- 1 Rare drop
- 1 Magic drop
The reward for completing the Champions Demise Dungeon in Diablo IV
Killing Khazra Abomination will complete the Champions Demise Dungeon in Diablo 4, and you will also be awarded Aspect of the Umbral, a Legendary Aspect which restores 1-4 Resource of your Primary Resource when you Crowd Control an enemy. This Aspect is not class-specific, which makes it especially useful and desirable.
