It’s been 30 years since the original F-Zero was released, and in honor, Nintendo is creating a new version of the beloved racer. F-Zero 99 is a battle royale version of the game, similar to other recent Switch experiments like Tetris 99 and Mario 35. Check out the reveal trailer below.

The game takes place on classic F-Zero courses with the original SNES game machines, and as the name suggests, it supports up to 99 players simultaneously. In addition to beating the competition, you must avoid running into obstacles to avoid exploding. You can complete missions to unlock new cosmetic options to customize your machine.
