GIANTS Software has released the first trailer for Farming Simulator 23, offering a glimpse of exciting new features and improvements to the game. Farming Simulator 23 is set to be released on May 23 for the Nintendo Switch, and aims to raise the bar for mobile farming games, building on the success of the popular Farming Simulator brand that started 15 years ago.

In Farming Simulator 23, players can create an extensive farming empire that includes farming, animal husbandry, and forestry. They can grow a variety of crops, including new additions such as grapes, olives, and sorghum, and engage in various field activities such as plowing and weeding. The game offers more than 130 original machines on Switch and 100+ in the mobile version, allowing players to plant, grow and harvest 14 different crops.

Animal husbandry is another important aspect of the game, as players can take care of newly added cows, horses, pigs, sheep, and chickens, as shown in the cinematic trailer. By mastering new field mechanics and producing valuable goods, players can expand their businesses and improve their chosen production chains.

Farming Simulator 23 offers two diverse maps inspired by the environments in the USA and Europe, providing players with the flexibility to adapt their farming approach according to their preferences. In addition to operating realistic tractors, harvesters, field sprayers, and more, players can create production chains, transport goods with powerful trucks, and take care of different farm animals.

New gameplay features include plowing and weeding, while the game also introduces a tutorial mode, an AI assistant, and a new auto-loading feature for logs and pallets, making it easier for players to get started on the farm. With an abundance of possibilities on the two new maps, complete with collectibles, players can decide what kind of farm they want.

After completing tasks such as plowing, weeding, and harvesting crops, players can produce valuable commodities from their harvest and expand their thriving business with new factories and production chains. As they progress, players can enjoy changing scenery through the atmospheric seasons, ensuring that there is always time to relax and enjoy their vast arable lands.

Farming Simulator 23 is available for pre-order at select retail stores and Nintendo eShop. Improved in-game tutorials ensure that even newcomers to rural life can easily start farming and let the good times roll.
