Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 will get a December 2025 premiere date

Five Nights at Freddy’s 2, the sequel to the 2023 film adaptation of the popular horror game has a premiere date. Freddy Fazbear and friends return to the big screen on December 5, 2025.

As reported VarietyBlumhouse Productions announced the date along with a slate of other upcoming films M3GAN 2.0 And Black phone 2. This is not surprising to see Five Nights at Freddy’s Following up. It simultaneously premiered in theaters and at the Peacock on October 27, 2023 and still managed to become a huge box office success. Grossing $297 million globally, it became the highest-grossing horror film of the year, Blumhouse’s highest-grossing film, and the most-watched film at the Peacock for five straight days.

Tagline For Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 reads, “Anyone can survive five nights. This time, there are no second chances.” The sequel’s cast has not been announced, but the original starred Josh Hutchinson and included Matthew Lillard, Elizabeth Lyle, Mary Stuart Masterson and Piper Rubio. Director Emma Tammy is returning to direct the sequel, with FNAF creator Scott Cawthorne and Blumhouse founder Jason Blum once again taking on the roles of producers.

FNAF 2 2025 won’t be the only video game movie. Mortal Kombat 2It was recently confirmed that the sequel to the 2021 reboot will release in October of that year.
