Frostpunk 2 for PC delayed until September 20

The publisher and developer’s 11-bit studios have been delayed Frostpunk 2 from its previously planned release date of July 25 to September 20. It will be available for PC through Steam, epic games storeand GOGO. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions will arrive later.

“Based on the surveys we received after playing the beta, the average rating you gave us was 8 out of 10,” he said Frostpunk 2 Design director Jakub Stokalski and art director Lukasz Juszczyk in a statement. “We are very grateful for that! At the same time, it was just a small portion of an in-progress and still-growing game. Although our pending work is abundant, it was an opportunity for us to listen to what he liked and what he has not yet managed to achieve.”

The statement continues: “This allowed us to better prioritize things and introduce the features and tweaks we were already working on. But we also realized that to ensure the best possible experience at launch, we need more time to finish development of Frostpunk 2That is why we made the difficult decision to postpone its premiere to September 20, 2024.”

The scope of the new works includes new additions to the game mechanics, extensive improvements to the user interface and user experience, a popular on-demand city feature called “Zoom Stories” and more. More details can be found here.
