How to get Lil’ XT Pet free in World of Warcraft

[ad_1]

To gear up for the release of the 10.1 update in World of Warcraft, players can get into the groove of things by claiming a free pet. A Prime Gaming drop is running until May 25, and all players have to do is log into their Twitch account, get a Twitch Prime membership, and claim the free pet.

How to claim the free Lil’ XT in World of Warcraft

The promotion runs until May 24, so players just need to make sure they get on Twitch before that date passes to claim the free pet. There are plenty of reasons for players to do so because there are two rounds of Twitch Drops on top of the Prime Gaming Pet, so lots of freebies are waiting.

If you’ve never claimed anything on Twitch before, you’ll need to complete a few steps beforehand. It’ll be as simple as linking your Battle.net account to your Twitch account. When that’s done, just click the crown icon on the top right corner of the Twitch homepage and scroll through the rewards until you see Lil’ XT. There are many other games to claim drops for, so it’s not a bad idea to look through all of them. Once the pet is claimed, it’ll be waiting in your Collection tab within World of Warcraft.

When does World of Warcraft 10.1 launch?

All of this seems like it’s being done as a way to build up hype for the new World of Warcraft 10.1 update that releases May 2. This patch will usher in Dragonflight Season 2 which comes with a new raid and another set of Mythic+ dungeons. Anybody who has been taking a break from the game will want to come back for this one.

While the update does arrive on May 2, the new season releases May 9. This means players will have a week to get used to some of the changes made to their class before they hop into some of the higher end content. It does give us some time to play around with our new Lil’ XT pet, so it’s not all bad.
