[ad_1]

New World Patch Update 1.9.3 is scheduled to be released on May 9 at 11:00 PM PST (6:00 AM UTC) and the downtime is expected to last approximately one hour. Major changes in the update include fixes for Gear Set Slots, tweaks for Springtide Bloom, and many other improvements.

In the World Experience section, Springtide Bloom now allows players to individually purchase Beekeeper and Springtime Ruffles clothing sets. The update also introduces Heartrune charges to the Wispy Wasp squadron, and the Springtide Premium Token recipe is now correctly listed as “Premium Token” in the crafting list. Players can now get four Springtide Jingle coin bags per day, instead of three.

Quest adjustments include fixes for the “Book III: Barodos in a Spear to Pierce the Sky” quest chain, where the Periville guards are now dropping the intact spear quest item. In addition, returning players who have only completed a portion of the original main story mission can speak to Yonas in Brightwood to resume it.

Game mode updates include a fix to prevent players from unintentionally bringing certain game mode items such as gunpowder kegs into the open world in Outpost Rush. In the Empyrean Forge, Commander Marius’ magma orb menace now displays a secondary ring to indicate the area where the shockwave will cause minor damage and affect the player.

Economic, progression, and gear changes include a fix for an issue causing items in purchased gear set slots to revert to player inventories upon login. Open world elite chests at level 55+ Varangian Points of Interest (POIs) now have a 75% chance of dropping a Flame Core, down from 100%, while normal chests have a 10% chance, down from 20%. Unstable Bricks now cost three Flame Cores to craft, down from 10, and players can craft six Unstable Bricks per day, up from three.

The Season Pass sees multiple modifications and additions to its activities and challenges, including change to victory and experience requirements in PvP arenas, crafting changes, and adjustments to wins and completions required in various missions.

Finally, the update includes several user experience and user interface improvements, such as tooltip and localization updates, and fixes an issue with the leaderboards. In addition, a rare issue preventing players from turning off the PvP flag has been fixed, and the amount of echo has been reduced when an NPC speaks within a small indoor space.
