The race for the Betfred Super League play-offs has never reached such a dramatic climax – and that means an unprecedented Friday night of rugby league action on Sky Sports.
With three teams currently tied on points at the top of the table, and fierce battles for every place in the top six qualifiers, the sports broadcast partners have agreed that all six Round 27 matches should be played next Friday, 22 September. .
Sky Sports will announce on Saturday evening, after the weekend’s round, which match will headline its coverage.
In addition to full coverage of one game, they will also have cameras and reporters at all games that have a chance to influence the format of the playoffs, meaning viewers won’t miss a thing next Friday night.
Meanwhile, RL Commercial is making arrangements to ensure the League Leaders’ Shield is presented to the winners on Friday night – in Leigh, Salford or St Helens.
