Dan Biggar was rested for Wales’ match against Portugal

Warren Gatland has rested Dan Biggar, as he sets his Wales side to face Portugal in their second match of the Rugby World Cup.

Wales held on for a 32-26 win over Fiji in their opening match last weekend, but Saturday’s game should in theory be the easiest game of Wales’ campaign, as they will face the lowest-ranked team in Group C.

Leigh Halfpenny is one of the most popular additions as he comes in at full-back in his 101st cap.

Wales starting on the 15th: Lee Halfpenny; Louis Rees-Zammit, Mason Grady, Johnny Williams, Rio Dyer; Gareth Anscombe, Tomos Williams; Nikki Smith, Dewi Lake (c), Dillon Lewis, Christ Chionza, David Jenkins, Dan Lydiate, Tommy Revell, Tolupe Faletau.

Replacements: Ryan Elias, Corey Domachowski, Thomas Francis, Adam Bird, Tyne Basham, Gareth Davies, Sam Costello, Josh Adams.
