Inspired by real-life treasure hunts and pop culture classics such as Single player readyThe Hoarder’s Hunt features a slightly different format than the first Sea of Thieves puzzle, Who killed DiMarco? Unveiled over four months using a variety of social media mechanics, ARG elements, and in-game clues, with each step dynamically unlocking as players achieve milestones.
To take part in the upcoming The Hoarder’s Hunt, players must head to mystery page affiliate Sea of Thieves Website, sign up by registering, and then they will be able to see the first guide. There will be four stages in total: The skin is gold, the feathered wealth, the image of plunder and crown glory. Each stage consists of an ARG hunt and an in-game journey. Voyage Entitlement must be opened with a successful keyword each time.
Pirates who complete all previous stages of the game will advance to the final stage, which features a high-stakes race to win a special in-game golden key. This key is necessary to complete the puzzle, and the title reward will be awarded to the first pirate qualified to suggest and successfully complete the last voyage.
Hoarder’s Hunt will take place over four weeks. The first phase will start on Thursday. May 11th.
