Sony has announced a deal with Konami for Metal Gear, Silent Hill, and Castlevania Exclusivity

When asked about the nature of the singularity, whether permanent or temporary, Corden replied that he had heard the word “timed”, but noted that timed PlayStation exclusives often translate to “never using Xbox”.

These rumors are consistent with other information circulating about the games. Andy Robinson of VGC mentioned that a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is planned for release in 2024. In addition, Robinson tweeted which is still being considered for a re-release or remake of other Metal Gear Solid titles.

Speculation about a Metal Gear Solid franchise revival and a new Castlevania game has been going on for a while now. similar to The now confirmed Silent Hill remakeKonami seems to be taking its time with ads.

The Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake is purportedly intended to gauge interest in potential new installments in the stealth-oriented franchise, which has been inactive since its 2018 spin-off game, Metal Gear Survive. Series mastermind Hideo Kojima parted ways with Konami after completing The Phantom Pain, then founded his own studio and developed Death Stranding.

It remains unclear if Konami has been in contact with Hideo Kojima regarding these reported modifications and remasters.
