Leeds United Beat Chelsea by 3-0

Brenden Aaronson of the USMNT scores for Leeds, who defeated Chelsea 3-0.

Brenden Aaronson, a forward from the United States, scored the first goal as Leeds United defeated Chelsea 3-0 on Sunday.

Leeds had seven points after their first three games.

They got off to a good start when Edouard Mendy botched a straightforward clearing, which Aaronson took advantage of soon after the half-hour mark.

The American forward stole the ball from Chelsea's goalkeeper and dribbled it into an open goal.

Chelsea was unfortunate to be one goal down after missing some early chances.

But soon after the opener, they found themselves two goals behind.

Rodrigo emphatically headed in Jack Harrison's delicate free-kick to earn the Spaniard his fourth Premier League goal of the season.

In a commanding performance, Leeds added a third in the 69th minute.

"It was the best performance since I have been here," Marsch said.
