On September 3rd US theaters will sell $3 Movie Tickets

On September 3, US theatres will make this experience more affordable.

As part of National Cinema Day, which was just announced, more than 3,000 theatres across the US, including chains like AMC, will offer $3 tickets.

With more than 30,000 screens and all of the major movie studios taking part, there's a good chance that a theatre near you is taking part.

People are going back to the movies to see movies like "Dune" and "Top Gun: Maverick."

The promotion comes at a time when the industry is still dealing with the effects of COVID-19.

Because of the pandemic, movie studios like Universal shortened their theatrical windows by a lot.

In the US and other parts of the world, strict lockdown rules made it hard for many chains, like Regal Cinemas, to stay open.
