The Jaguars released their veteran quarterback on Friday

Jake Luton, a veteran quarterback, was let go by the Jacksonville Jaguars on Friday.

The team also brought on kicker Jake Verity and let go of linebacker Grant Morgan.

Since Luton has been cut, E.J. Perry is the only quarterback who can play in tomorrow's final preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons.

The Jaguars used their sixth-round pick in the 2020 draught to pick Luton.

The 26-year-old quarterback played in three games for Jacksonville, all of which were in 2020.

Perry, a first-year player from this year's class who wasn't picked in the draft, will replace Luton as the Jaguars' backup quarterback.

Tomorrow at 3 p.m. ET, the Jaguars will play the Falcons in their last preseason game.
