In May, Xbox Game Pass is set to welcome a variety of new games. Subscribers can expect to include FIFA 23, Planet of Lana, Railway Empire 2, and more, catering to a variety of gaming preferences.
As of today, FIFA 23 is available on console and PC through EA Play. With the addition of HyperMotion2 technology to Xbox Series X | S, players can expect enhanced gameplay realism. Monthly bonuses for FIFA 23 members are also available.
Among the upcoming games, Eastern Exorcist is set to arrive on console and PC on May 18th. This game takes players to a fantasy oriental world full of demonic monsters. Ghostlore, an ‘Eastpunk’ action-RPG, is set to join Xbox consoles the same day, following its previous release on PC Game Pass.
The following week, on May 23, it will be possible to access Planet of Lana on Day 1 with Game Pass. This cinematic puzzle adventure features Lana and her companion, Moy, as they explore their magical world. Three days later, on May 25th, Cassette Beasts will make their way to Xbox consoles after their latest addition to PC Game Pass. This open world RPG offers turn-based battles with collectible monsters.
Massive Chalice, a tactical strategy game, is also set for release on May 25th on Cloud and Console. Meanwhile, Railway Empire 2 will be available on cloud, console and PC on Day 1 with Game Pass. Players can aspire to grow their company into the largest railway company on the continent, outsmarting savvy competitors along the way.
At the end of the month, Chicory: A Colorful Tale will be available on console and PC on May 30th. This top-down adventure game set in the world of coloring books invites players to solve puzzles and change the world with their drawing powers.
Several game updates and downloadable content are also in order, including Sea of Thieves: The Hoarder’s Hunt and Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition – Return to Rome.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can also claim benefits like the FIFA 23 Ultimate Team Pack and Smite x Vshojo Starter Pack.
However, as new games arrive, some will leave the Game Pass library at the end of May. These include Europa Universalis, Evil Genius 2: World Domination, FIFA 21, Floppy Knights, and Lawn Mowing Simulator. Subscribers are advised to make the most of these games before they leave the platform.
