Publisher Skybound Games and developer Nice Dream, a Los Angeles-based studio founded by the co-creators of before your eyeshave announced Good night universe, a narrative adventure game where you play as a six-month-old baby with psychic abilities. No platforms or release date were announced. The game will participate in Tribeca Games Festival 2024 from June 12 to 16.

In the narrative adventure Goodnight Universe, you will play as Isaac, a six-month-old baby who develops mysterious psychic abilities. What you want most is to be loved and accepted by your family, but a secret technology corporation wants you for themselves. The game will also feature an immersive “face tracking” mode, expanding on the innovative use of camera-based technology the team is known for.
A “spiritual following” for before your eyes with a touch of science fiction, Good night universe will fuse powerful storytelling with mechanics that push the boundaries of interactive entertainment. The Nice Dream team brings together numerous notable talents behind it before your eyes while reinforcing the list with new additions essential for the growth of the studio.
“The success of before your eyes “It showed us that there is an audience of like-minded people looking for games to engage them emotionally in ways that other media simply cannot,” Nice Dream co-founder Graham Parkes said in a press release. “We founded Nice Dream Games to continue creating games for that audience, pushing the boundaries of what interactive storytelling can do.”
