World War I Survival Horror Game RECRUIT will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via SteamEpic games store and GOGO On July 23, publisher Team17 and developer Catchweight Studio announced. A new demo is now available for PC as part of Steam Next Fest from June 10 to 17. Pre-orders are also available on all platforms except Switch, which will open pre-orders on June 25.

RECRUIT is a horror and survival game inspired by classics of the genre, set in 1916 during the Great War. RECRUIT will combine all the punishment mechanics of older horror games into a cohesive, tense, and unique experience.
In RECRUIT, you play as a French soldier searching for his brother missing in action during the Battle of Verdun. Can you search twisted trenches, navigate invaded forts, and cross no man’s land to find it and ensure your home remains intact?
