BEEP has announced a side-scrolling shooter Cotton reset! High tension!a sequel to the one released in 2021 Cotton reset!. It will be released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch in Spring 2025 in Japan. The PlayStation 5 and Switch versions will be available both physically and digitally, while the PlayStation 4 version will be digital only.
While BEEP didn’t release any screenshots of the new title, it did reveal new playable character Macaron and villainous character Willow:

BEEP will be holding voice actor auditions for Macaron and Willow, as well as auditions for an official influencer/ambassador. Applications are available here.
The same as Cotton reset!, Cotton reset! High tension! will be composed of Hiroyuki Kawada and the Japanese chiptune band YMCK.
