Publisher Xbox Game Studios and developer Obsidian Entertainment have released the official story trailer for the first-person action role-playing game. Declared.

Set in the fictional world of Eora first introduced to players of the Pillars of Eternity franchise, Declared is a first-person fantasy action role-playing game from the award-winning team at Obsidian Entertainment.
You are the envoy of Aedyr, a distant land, sent to investigate rumors of a plague spreading across the Living Lands: an island full of mysteries and secrets, dangers and adventures, choices and consequences, and untamed nature. You discover a personal connection to the Living Lands and an ancient secret that threatens to destroy everything. Can you save this unknown frontier and your soul from the forces that threaten to tear them apart?
The strange and wonderful living lands
Living Lands is a place that feels foreign to you but somewhat intrinsic, as you feel like the island itself is asking you for help. Explore an island that is home to many different environments and landscapes, each with its own unique ecosystem.
Visceral combat to play your way
Mix and match swords, spells, guns and shields to make your way. Search your grimoire for spells to trap, freeze, or burn enemies, hit them with your shield, or use ranged bows to attack from a distance.
Companions as part of your journey
Companions of various species will fight alongside you, with their own unique abilities. From a former mercenary to an eccentric wizard, they will be part of your journey and your choices will shape them as you help them with their missions.
Declared will be released for Xbox Series and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store in 2024. It will also be available through Xbox Game Pass.
