Version 4.1 updated to Genshin ImpactThe launch, dubbed “To the Stars Shining in the Depths,” will launch on September 27, developer miHoYo announced.

Here’s an overview of the update via miHoYo:

Fontaine will expand north, with the main story continuing with Neuvillette and Wriothesley joining the cast of playable characters, as well as the debut of Fatui Harbinger “Arlecchino”. Rewards will be released including Intertwined Fates x10, Primogems x1600, and 2 exclusive items. Genshin Impact Celebrating its third anniversary with fans and players around the world.

After introducing the prosperous court of Fontaine, the upcoming northern region will reveal the nation’s history and mysteries from different perspectives. Hidden in the depths of the sea, Meropide Castle not only contains exiles from all over Fontaine, but also vital jobs and secrets. The latest Archon Quest will be picked up here as the Traveler searches for Childe. Floating in the air, “gravitationally condensed bodies of water” and ruins tell the story of a fatal attempt by the Fontaine Research Institute to survive an expected great flood.

Danger awaits as players explore the new underwater area and ruins. The new boss enemy “Millennial Pearl Seahorse” is a beautiful monster that deals electric damage. Another boss enemy, the Experimental Sphere Generator, is an out-of-control research device used to counter the effects of gravity, giving players the ability to jump higher and evade its attacks.

Two Fontaine characters in high-ranking positions will become playable as five-star Catalyst holders, and players can learn more about them in their own story missions. Neuvillette, Iudex of Fontaine, can unleash spiraling torrents in a straight line that deal Water damage via charged attacks, and Wriothesley, the administrator of Meropide Castle, is skilled at using melee attacks to deal Cryo damage. Both characters are able to expend health to cast certain types of attacks and then regain their health afterwards. Neuvillette and Hu Tao will be available in the first round of Event Wishes, followed by Wriothesley and Venti.

In addition to the adventure in Fontaine, the Poetry Festival in Mondstadt and Llewe provides a good opportunity to reunite with friends and honor friendship and love. The festival also features several mini-games and an exclusive 4-star catalyst that can be redeemed.

More rewards can be claimed Genshin ImpactThe third anniversary of… The special daily login event is back with up to Intertwined Fates x10 and other rewards. During Version 4.1, players can also check their in-game mailbox to claim Primogems x1,600, Fragile Resin x4, and two unique tools “Portable Air Gelatin Bubble Generator” and “Itty Bitty Octobaby”.
