What are the wise men?
In GreedFall II: The Dying World, you play as a native of a small lakeside town on Teer Fradee, an island steeped in its own special kind of magic and unknown creatures that inhabit the wild. Mev, the high priestess of Teer Fradee, sends you on a quest to perform an initiation ritual to become a Doneigad, a sage charged with protecting your people and their lands. This is a crucial task, since for several years their island has suffered increasing colonization by foreign powers indifferent to its devastating impact on the natural environment.
Violence should always be the last resort
To protect your people and succeed in your mission, you have a variety of options depending on the situations you encounter, as your decisions will affect the development of your adventure. Therefore, your dialogue choices will directly influence your relationships with other characters and your reputation with other factions. Additionally, the talents you choose to develop, such as Survival, Diplomacy, or Stealth, affect how you can experience certain events.
However, sometimes you will need to use force and confrontations are an integral part of your adventure. This new trailer presents some of the mechanics of the game’s combat system, which are designed to provide a greater strategic dimension, especially thanks to the option to control your companions, and a tactical pause system that will allow you to maintain perfect control of any situation.
