Second defeat for Sri Lanka in CWC 2023
The defeat marked Sri Lanka’s second defeat in the multi-team tournament. Their campaign started on a sour note with a crushing defeat against South Africa in their first match, and a defeat against Pakistan left them looking for a turnaround.
