About

Our life in the water is a life simulation role-playing game set in Sahakom, a fictional country inspired by the real Mekong River regions and its floating villages. You arrive at the village to eventually take on the role of Rivertalker, the community’s link to the spiritual realm. Faced with the increasing dangers posed by the modern world, you will be forced to turn to the spirits of the river, along with your companion Yla, the talking otter.

  • live on the river – The River is your new home. Enjoy slow life in a floating town. Collect bamboo and trash, recycle, craft items, build houses and structures on the river, fish, tend plants and crops, and raise animals. The river environment adds a unique flavor to each of these activities.

  • Discover the supernatural – Explore the monsoon landscape inspired by Cambodian and Vietnamese floating villages with a touch of magical realism. Travel by boat, swim and dive to find mystical artifacts. He interacts with Yla the Otter and, most importantly, finds ways to gain the favor of the river spirits to rebuild the village.
  • Protect the town – Explore the history of a place where modern life clashes with indigenous life and where both the environment and cultural identity are in danger. Your choices will have an impact on the town and its residents. Can you repair the community’s wounds and save its homeland?
