Octopath Traveler II is one of the most popular RPGs of the year, and now Xbox fans are invited to join the party. The game will be coming to Microsoft’s consoles and Windows PC early next year.
The RPG was first released in February for PlayStation consoles, Switch and PC. Octopath Traveler II, like its predecessor, has players guide eight adventurers through an expansive adventure in an HD-2D rendered world. Although superficially similar, the sequel was praised for its improvements in storytelling, character development, progression, and navigation.
In our review, we scored Octopath Traveler II 8.5 out of 10, with guest writer Josh Broadwell saying “Octopath Traveler II makes an excellent sequel. Instead of breaking new ground left and right, it improves on the original in every way and feels more confident about the stories it tells.”
