Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia to host PlayStation Partner Awards 2023 Japan Asia on December 1, company Announced.
PlayStation Partner Awards 2023 Japan Asia recognizes PlayStation versions of successful titles sold in the Japan and Asia regions. This will be the 29th time the event has been held since it began as the PlayStation Awards a year after the birth of PlayStation in 1994. Like the previous year, the 2023 ceremony will not be broadcast live.
The award categories are as follows:
Big prize
Awarded to the top three titles developed in the Japan and Asia regions with the highest global sales between October 2022 and September 2023.
Partner Award
Awarded to titles developed in the Japan/Asia region with first positions in sales worldwide between October 2022 and September 2023, with particularly notable activity results.
special award
Awarded to titles with especially notable activity results.
User Choice Award
Awarded to the top five titles chosen by our users in the Japan and Asia regions. Title candidates are drawn directly from the top 30 titles released between October 2022 and September 2023, ranked by total number of hours played in the Japan and Asia region.
