Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time made a reappearance at Ubisoft’s Forward event, but only briefly. Basically, Ubisoft has confirmed that the game is still in development, but it won’t be released until 2026.
The game hit some development difficulties during its creation period. When announced, Ubisoft Pune and Ubisoft Mumbai were said to be developing the game, but it was shared that development duties would be handed over to Ubisoft Montreal in 2022. At that point development was effectively completely reset as it would be some time before release.
