Short story game Pine: A Story of Loss to be published by Fellow Traveler

Fellow traveler will publish Pine: a story of lossa game based on a short story about life after love from Brooklyn-based developer Made Up Games, first funded through Kick starter in February 2021. It will be released for Switch, PC via SteamiOS and Android at the end of 2024.

Pine: a story of loss is an interactive and emotional short story told without words through hand-drawn animation and music, designed to be played in a single sitting.

It follows the story of a carpenter who mourns the recent death of his wife. Now alone in the clearing where they made their home, he tries to move on.

Your simple daily tasks of tending your garden or collecting firewood for the coming winter are interrupted by memories of the happy times you spent together. Desperate not to forget her, the carpenter captures these memories in beautiful carvings from the wood he collects.
