Let the fight begin!

Are you ready to fight to become the best banana? Get ready as SEGA reveals the first details of the monkey mayhem found in Banana headingBattle mode!

Here, up to two players locally or up to 16 players online can play together as they make their way through five different modes. Additionally, no matter which environment you participate in, players can also choose to have up to 15 bots (for 16 players total) join them in the fray.

Career

Compete against other players and reach the finish line before them, but be careful! If you fall off the stage, you will have to start over at the last checkpoint you passed. Expect plenty of fun and exciting obstacles that will keep players on their toes!

banana hunt

The goal of Banana Hunt is simple: collect as many bananas as you can! Keep an eye out for the Banana Cloud that will appear randomly and rain down lots of Banana Bunches. During the last 30 seconds of the match, Fever Time will activate and Banana Bunches will appear all over the stage, so try to score lots of points before time runs out!

Ba-BOOM!

Pass the bomb to your opponent and roll away! If you don’t have a bomb at the end of a round, you will be rewarded with points. Whoever has the most points after five rounds wins!

Goal fever

In this team-based mode, your goal is to outscore goals to earn points, while working together to outscore the opposing team. At the end of the match, each team will receive points for each goal that matches their team color, so don’t count your bananas just yet!

Crushing Robot

Destroy the robots! Two teams compete against each other by beating giant robots. The amount of damage you do depends on your character’s weight and how fast you move. The team with the most points at the end of the match wins!

In each of these modes, players will also find item boxes! Form one and you will receive one of many different items. These include banana peels to make someone slip up, a bat to knock down your opponent, a missile you can throw to destroy your opponents, and a heavy ball that will slow down anyone it hits. There are even items that are exclusive to certain characters, so keep an eye out!

In addition to these competitive options, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble’s Adventure mode allows up to four players to team up in cooperative play, either online or locally, giving players even more ways to join in the fun together!
