Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: The Kingdom Hearts Sora Amiibo Gets February Release Date

In September, Nintendo revealed that a Kingdom Hearts “Sora” amiibo for the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate line would be coming next year. Now, Nintendo has revealed exactly when: February 16, 2024.

Nintendo revealed the release date late last night, December 6th, with a short video showing off the amiibo on Twitter. As expected, it adopts Sora’s look in the first Kingdom Hearts – a fan favorite – with his trademark smile and keyblade raised over his shoulder.

Sora is the last fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to get an amiibo, meaning players can finally complete their Super Smash Bros. Ultimate amiibo lineup in February. Before Sora, though, Nintendo will release Noah and Mio Amiibo from Xenoblade Chronicles 3 on January 19, 2024. Just last month, Nintendo released the Zelda and Ganondorf amiibo for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
