The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series, a compilation of the first six Final Fantasy games, recently passed two million copies sold, according to The Guardian. Advertising on Twitter. These sales span multiple platforms, including Steam, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.

Initially released on PC via Steam, iOS, and Android, the series is set to release with Final Fantasy I, II, and III on July 28, 2021, followed by Final Fantasy IV on September 8, 2021, Final Fantasy V on November 10, 2021, and Final Fantasy VI on February 23, 2022. All six games become available for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch users on April 19, 2023.

The remastered series brings fans updated 2D graphics and a beautifully rearranged soundtrack. The gameplay is enhanced with modern user interfaces and auto battle options. In addition, players can delve deeper into the game world with add-ons such as a photo gallery, illustration gallery, and music player. It is important to note that these remastered versions are based on the original titles, and some of the changes or additional elements found in other remakes are not included.
