Falcom has released new information and screenshots for The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki – Goodbye O Zemuria featuring the characters Van Arkride, Agnes Claudel and Bergard Zeman, as well as the story, scenarios and new elements of the battle system.

■ Characters
Van Arkride (voice of Daisuke Ono)
“Run away or face yourself… At the end of the day, you are the one who makes that decision.”
A young man who works as a “Spriggan”, an occupation that helps those who have become lost between the real world and the underworld.
You might think that he has a fairly pragmatic personality since he is the only one of his family alive, but he has his own methods when it comes to making decisions. (That said, there is a danger that his determination will falter in the face of his favorite candy.)
Summoned by the lord of demons, he was born with the diabolical core housed inside him. After the battle against the demon lord who separated from his body, he was able to successfully seal the devilish core in a place between worlds.
Agnes Claudel (voice of Miku Ito)
“Please, Van, don’t regret having the most important people in your life in your heart.”
Second year student of the renowned Aramis High School. She has a gentle and elegant demeanor, with a strong sense of determination.
He begins working part-time at the “Arkride Solutions Office” after asking Van to search for a Genesis, an orb left to him by his great-grandfather.
Although she managed to collect the Oct-Genesis that was scattered throughout the republic, she continues her part-time job at the Solutions Office under the direction of Van, with whom she is in love.
Bergard Zeman (voice of Akio Otsuka)
“You have grown a lot. “I am grateful for my good fortune to be your teacher.”
Formerly a wandering priest in the Septian Church, he is a large, muscular old man.
As a master of the Kunlun style, one of the three great martial arts schools of the East, he has many disciples throughout the continent. For Van, Bergard is an important teacher and a person to whom he owes a great debt.
He cares a lot about Van, who comes from a special background, and advises him strictly, both in martial arts and in all aspects of life.
After the Republic incident, he traveled east. Along the way, he meets Van again and extends a hand to him.

Operation Startaker
A large, nationwide project driven underwater by Roy Gramheart, the 23rd president of the Calvard Republic. With the goal of reaching unexplored territory “beyond the atmosphere,” the project will launch communications satellites via Orbal rockets, with the goal of sending humans into space. The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki bases its battle system on that used by its predecessor, The Legend of Heroes: Trails Until Dawn, which allows seamless switching between field and command-based battles. In The Legend of Heroes: Kai no KisekiNew “Awakening” and “BLTZ (Blitz) System” elements have been added to the battle system.
New field battle element: “Awakening”
Some characters such as Van, who has the ability to change into Grendel form, and Dominions who possess stigmata, can enter an “awakened” state using their boost gauge during field battles, allowing them to temporarily boost his fighting skills by a considerable amount.
