Unbeatable now available for PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One and Switch

Publisher Daedalic Entertainment and developer ByteRockers’ Games have released a roguelite climbing game Insuperable for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch for $24.99, the companies announced.

The console release includes all previously released updates for PC (Steam), which was originally released on April 29, 2021.

Here’s an overview of the game, via Daedalic Entertainment:

About

Insuperable is a permadeath rogue-lite adventure, where difficult decisions lurk around every corner. Thanks to a procedurally created environment, dynamic weather, a day and night cycle, and a multitude of randomly generated events, no two climbs are the same. While most Rogue-lites try to kill the player with hordes of enemies, in Insuperable The world itself, the mountain, is the only seemingly invincible enemy that breaks your neck when you don’t watch every step. Your decisions matter… every one of them, because it could always be your last.

Choose one of three characters with different abilities and backstories. Search ancient boxes, caves, and ruins for equipment from adventurers from the past. You will need it, because the mountains will demand everything of you. But do not worry. As time goes by, you will become stronger and stronger. Take advantage of a sophisticated skill system to determine what strengths your climber should have.

Throughout three mysterious stories, you will meet dangerous animals, overcome deadly abysses and encounter sinister and well-intentioned characters, who don’t always have to be human. Face the sheer force of nature and keep your eyes fixed on the top to overcome the insurmountable.
