The eighth match of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 between Pakistan and Sri Lanka turned out to be a nail-biting blockbuster, treating cricket fans to an electrifying contest.

The Pakistan team received massive support from the Hyderabad crowd throughout the match. The team has been in the city since their arrival on September 27 and the local crowd showed a lot of enthusiasm for it Babar Azam and his teammates.
A video has gone viral on social media, capturing the incredible moment when the crowd in Hyderabad enthusiastically chanted ‘Pakistan Jeetega’ (Pakistan will win) in unison. The stadium DJ asked the crowd who they thought would win and the response was a great show of support for Pakistan.

Notably, Babar and his team have established a friendly relationship with the local community, including the ground staff. In a heartwarming gesture, the Pakistan captain was seen gifting a jersey to a member of the ground staff, exemplifying the friendship between the Pakistan team and the people of Hyderabad.
