Along with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 new game, the audio descriptions have been delayed until next year

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was one of the year’s biggest successes, but it lacked some of the features of Insomniac’s two previous Spider-Man games. The biggest omission was New Game Plus, but Insomniac assured fans that it would arrive in an update to the game before the end of the year. Unfortunately, the developer won’t be able to hit that deadline Posted this update on social media yesterday.

We’re now targeting early 2024 for the next game update, and we’ll have a feature-complete list closer to its release. We’ve listened to your feedback and are adding some highly requested features including the ability to change the time of day, tendril colors and replays – to name a few!

We can’t wait to share more with you in the future. In the meantime, we appreciate your patience while our team works to complete our next update Marvel’s Spider-Man 2!

thanks,

Insomnia games

As the statement mentions, the update will also include other returning features such as the ability to replay missions and change the time of day, as well as the option to swap symbiote tendril colors. It also mentions that a “feature-complete” list will be available closer to the update’s release, indicating more features that Insomnia has yet to add. Regardless, we’ll learn more in early 2024.
