The Switch version of Touhou Project restaurant simulator Izakaya from Touhou Mystia will be released on May 2, 2024 for $24.99, publisher Phoenixx and developer Dichroic Purpilion Announced. It will support English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese language options.
“Izakaya from Touhou Mystia breaks the mold of the usual Touhou game,” Dichroic Purpilion founder Youzi KK said in a press release. “Instead of combat, players must use cooking and customer service to achieve victory. We are very grateful for the success that Izakaya from Touhou Mystia has experienced on Steam and we look forward to bringing the mobile restaurant experience to a new platform.”
In Japan, it will also be available in standard and limited physical editions for 4,510 yen and 9,130 yen, respectively. The latter includes a complete set of cards featuring the game’s characters, a CD with the selected original soundtrack, and a Mystia Lorelei with an apron strap.

Open to the public at night and offers an impeccable experience. Each visitor has different preferences, favorite dishes and drinks, as well as individual budgets. Chat with guests, show hospitality with promptly fulfilled orders and friendly interactions. Chain together successively satisfied customer service combos to generate massive profits, but incur the ire of Mystia’s mentors when sloppy management leads to disgruntled guests.
While hired workers can handle everyday tasks, keep an eye out for rare visits from Reimu, Akyuu, and more than 30 hungry Touhou characters that require a personal touch. Learn the culinary preferences of each special visitor, who will only tell you what they would like to be served, and prepare to cook off-menu dishes to unlock special rewards.
