Netflix has released a new trailer for season 2 Secret, the hit animated series set in the League of Legends universe. Set to premiere in November, show creators Christian Linke and Alex Yee have confirmed that the upcoming season will be the show’s last.
Season 2 is billed as the “Final Chapter” and will focus on Jinx’s attack on the Council, which is at the center of the escalating Piltover/Zaun conflict. Hailee Steinfeld (Vi) and Ella Purnell (Jinx) will reprise their roles in Season 2. While Arcane is coming to a close, Christian Link stated in a LoL dev update released today that it will not be the last animated story set in the franchise. .
“Secret This is the beginning of our big storytelling journey and partnership with the amazing animation studio Fortiche,” said Linke. “From the very beginning, since we started working on this project, we had a specific end in mind, the story of Secret This concludes with the second season. But Secret The first of many stories we want to tell in Runeterra.”
