Famitsu has released its estimated physical game hardware and software sales data for Japan for the week of December 4, 2023 to December 10, 2023.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder for Switch was the best-selling game last week, with an additional 82,470 retail copies. was followed by Momotaro Dentetsu World: Chikyuu wa Kibou of Mawatteru! in 62,488 units, and Monsters from Dragon Quest: The Dark Prince in 51,698 units.
New games like Avatar: Pandora’s Borders and DoDonPachi Blissful Death Re:Encarnación was released last week, but didn’t make the top 10.
In terms of hardware, the Switch family sold 92,776 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 44,166 units, the Xbox Series family sold 2,508 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 2,109 units.
