Has HBO/Max Released First look at Pedro Pascal’s Joel and Bella Ramsay’s Ellie in season 2 The Last of Us, and the scenery looks familiar. As filming for Season 2 continues, pictures from the shoot have started leaking out, but today’s pictures are the first official pictures from the upcoming season, which will be released next year.
Pascal’s Joel appears in the barn where a very important and intense scene between him and Ellie takes place, while Ellie appears in a winter location, somewhere near the beginning of the game where snow is plentiful.

Pascal and Ramsey are obviously returning cast members for the series, and they’ll be joined by various newcomers on the show next year. Booksmarts Caitlin Dever plays Abby, while Young Mazino joins as Jessie. Manny, Mel, Nora and Owen will be played by Danny Ramirez (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Top Gun: Maverick), Ariela Burr (who ran away), Tati Gabriel (The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), and Spencer Lord (Riverdale), respectively.

Fans of Naughty Dogs’ Last of Us games are eagerly awaiting HBO’s second season The Last of Us. The first season launched in January of last year, covering the events of the first game and its Left Behind DLC.
