Hi-Fi Rush will receive a final patch to fix minor issues, reconfirming the limited physical edition

Hi-Fi Rush is getting one final patch today to fix some minor issues in the game. Additionally, the Hi-Fi Rush X (formerly Twitter) account reconfirmed that the physical version of the game is coming from Limited Run Games.

The update from the Hi-Fi Rush X account comes roughly a week after the Xbox game’s developer, Tango Gameworks, shut down Redfall studio Arcane Austin and two other Bethesda teams. While there won’t be any more Hi-Fi Rush content coming from Tango Gameworks, today’s patch puts the game in as playable a state as possible so that future players can enjoy the 2023 hit.

The closure of Tango Gameworks comes nearly a year after the team delivered the extremely well-received Hi-Fi Rush. Xbox’s own agreed upon metrics, was a huge success. Days after the studios were closed, Xbox president Sarah Bond addressed the situation, saying it would keep the business healthy in the long run.
