How to get Ambergrease in World of Warcraft

There are new World Quests to complete in the Zaralek Cavern introduced in the World of Warcraft 10.1 update. One such quest tasks you with tracking down Ambergrease, but it’s a little bit harder than it sounds.

First things first, you’ll need to fly to Glimmerogg, which is found southeast of Loamm in the Zaralek Cavern. If the World Quest is currently active, you’ll be able to find it with ease as it’s marked on the map. You’ll be looking for Maggrul who will have three snails in front of him. Pick one of them and get started.

You’ll be asked to find five Ambergrease in total, and the game will point you into the general direction of some Tasty Mushrooms. While they do light up and can seemingly be interacted with, it’s not the case and you’ll need the snail to do the heavy lifting for you. Bringing the snail close enough to the mushroom will cause it to start chowing down on the mushroom, and once it’s finished there will be a puddle of Ambergrease. Do this for a total of five times and the World Quest is complete.

How to get Ambergrease quickly in WoW

The issue with the World Quest is it’s first come, first serve when it comes to the mushrooms. You’ll need to try your best to find a less populated spot with the mushrooms. Since you only need five in total, it shouldn’t be too much of a hassle, but it can take longer than expected if the area’s populated.

Luckily, you’ll have the leg up over the competition if you know how to get the Ambergrease and they don’t Much like the Ancient Zaqali Chest, this is another world event that requires some extra steps that everybody might not know about.
