Master Detective Files: RAIN CODE+ will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC via Steam on October 1 in the West for $59.99 / €59.99 / £54.99, Spike Chunsoft announced. In Japan, the game will launch as previously announced on July 18 for 6,350 yen.
The Japanese version will only support Japanese voiceovers and Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese text at launch, but will be updated with support for additional languages when the Western version is released. The Western version will support voiceovers in English and Japanese, as well as text in English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, and Spanish.
The PlayStation 5 version of Master Detective Files: RAIN CODE+ will be available both physically and digitally worldwide, while the Xbox Series and PC versions will be digital only. In the West, a “Lucid-Noir Limited Edition” will also be available for $99.99 / €99.99 / £89.99, which includes a copy of the game, an outer box with art by Rui Komatsuzaki, a SteelBook, and a 6.5 inch Shinigami plush. and the official soundtrack “Noise of Neon.”
A Digital Deluxe Edition will also be available worldwide for $69.99 / €69.99 / £59.99 / 7,200 yen, which includes the base game, a digital art book, and a digital soundtrack.
Pre-orders for any edition on PlayStation 5 include the novel “How to Be a Master Detective: A Halara Nightmare Case.” The first physical copies of the game include a printed version of the novel, while pre-orders of the digital edition include a digital version of the novel.
Master Detective Files: RAIN CODE+ It is an improved version of Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE, which was originally released for Switch. Add the following content:
