Since its launch last year, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet has received two DLCs as part of its Hidden Treasure of Area Zero storyline. The first, The Teal Mask, hit the Switch in September; The second, The Indigo Disc, arrived last week, bringing with it plenty of returning legendaries and even favorite starter Pokémon. Now, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have revealed that The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero will be getting an epilogue when the game hits in January.
The companies announced it today with a brief trailer teasing the new adventure in the “Land of Kitakami” that awaits trainers. Epilogue goes live on Thursday, January 11 at 6 am PT/9 am ET, and aside from saying goodbye to friends from Generation 9’s journey, today’s trailer teases what appears to be new Pokémon.

To play through Epilogue, you must complete “a specific postgame event in Pokemon Scarlet or Violet” and you must complete the main stories of The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disc.
