Voting for Sky Bet Championship, League One and League Two Goals of the Month is open until Monday 11th September at 5pm.

Sky Bet Championship

Ozan Tufan – Hull City vs. Sheffield Wednesday – August 12

The centerpiece of Tuvan’s hat-trick on his home debut for Hull was a superb and controlled 25-yard strike that he smashed into the top corner after carelessly chipping the ball away.

Aaron Ramsey – Leicester City vs Cardiff City – August 19

Returning to his boyhood club was like a fairytale for Ramsey. He followed it up with a quality mark from his illustrious career – an unstoppable 30-yard angle of stunning simplicity and power.

Jay Stansfield – Birmingham City v Plymouth Argyle – 26 August

Less than 30 minutes into his Birmingham debut, Stansfield collected a through ball, deftly lifted it over a defender and curled a thunderbolt into the roof of the net.

Ryan Hedges – Watford vs Blackburn Rovers – 27 August

Hedges followed a Blackburn counter-attack when the ball fell to him. Without breaking his stride, he juggled the ball three times with his left shoe before launching it forcefully with his right hand.

Sky Bet Premier League

Owen Moxon – Carlisle United v Fleetwood Town – 5 August

Just 36 minutes into their first game back after promotion, Carlisle were awarded a free-kick from 30 yards out. Their local hero stepped up to find the top corner with power and precision.

Callum McManaman – Wigan Athletic v Northampton Town – August 12

Two Northampton defenders covered McManaman when he picked up the ball from the left flank. They counted without the pace at which he cut inside and unleashed his delicious curlers.

Rico Hackett – Northampton Town v Lincoln City – 15 August

Northampton goalkeeper Max Thompson was prepared for any shot Hackett might throw. Any shot, other than an instantaneous half-volley from the outside of his left foot.

Tyler Goodrum – Oxford United v Charlton Athletic – 26 August

Having received a high clearance on the ball of his foot in the center circle, Goodrum had no thought but to beat the Charlton player, leap inside, dribble and fire in a ferocious shot from 20 yards.

Sky Bet League Two

Kean Spence – Tranmere Rovers vs Barrow – 5 August

Timing the ball at thigh height when the ball is coming toward you is difficult enough. Add to that the speed with which Spence was running to meet him and his gentle stroke becomes a thing of beauty.

Tom Nixon – Doncaster Rovers v Mansfield Town – 15 August

Just 20 minutes into his Sky Bet Premier League debut, defender Nixon saw the ball bounce towards him. A quick flick and a stunning swish of his right foot later and Mansfield’s net was bulging.

Abu Issa – Grimsby Town vs. Mansfield Town – August 19

The best three goals scored by Issa from outside the region in August. He did not bother to wait for a defender to engage him, and instead fired a shot from 30 yards into the net.

George Thompson – Harrogate Town v Morecambe – 26 August

Some free kicks are simply impossible to save. Thompson skillfully combined disguise, perfect positioning and speed in a brilliant trajectory that sent the ball up and over the Morecambe wall.
