In this new adventure, Cal Kestis begins as a more powerful character than in his previous journey, and players will feel his enhanced abilities from the first swing of his lightsaber. The game offers a powerful set of mechanics that can be tailored to the player’s preferred play style, allowing him to deal with enemies in a variety of ways.

At the start of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, players can choose from five distinct combat stances, each providing unique advantages against the game’s diverse array of enemies. The single stance offers balanced gameplay, while the dual blade allows players to quickly damage groups of enemies with flair. Dual-wield allows for a neat, energetic slash with a lightsaber in each hand, while Crossguard provides powerful, slower attacks that are perfect for taking down larger enemies. Finally, Blaster mode allows players to engage enemies from a distance with powerful long-range shots.

Each combat situation features its own skill tree, allowing players to unlock new offensive and defensive abilities. In addition, Cal can perform several cool finishing moves that are visually stunning and satisfying at the same time. In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Cal is already a Jedi, and players have the opportunity to show the full range of his powers against those who threaten the galaxy.

Cal’s Force abilities are also expanded upon in this new adventure. Players can still use Force Push and Force Pull to control enemies on the battlefield, but now Cal can also use Jedi mental tricks to manipulate enemies, turn them against their allies, or enlist the help of the local wildlife to battle the Empire’s forces.

With a New Game Plus mode, a host of combat stances and enhanced Force abilities, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor promises an engaging and exciting gaming experience for fans of the franchise.
