Publisher Ubisoft and developer Evil Empire have released the “Temple of Fire” update for The Rebel Prince of Persiawhich is currently in early access for PC via Steam.

The recently released and critically acclaimed fast-paced 2D roguelite platformer. The Rebel Prince of Persia released the title’s first major update in early access.
“The Temple of Fire” brings a vibrant but treacherous new biome in which players will have to mobilize all their skills to overcome new enemies, traps and transversal challenges. Evil Empire spiced up the experience with two new mobs, the Shield Warrior and the Duelist, as well as a new weapon, the Flaming Censers. This update also introduces the meta-progression skill tree, allowing players to use Spirit Glimmers to unlock persistent upgrades.
“The Fire Temple” is the first major content addition among the game’s multiple pre-release 1.0 updates, based on community feedback collected during the Early Access phase.
