When was Slap Battles published on Roblox?
Slap Battles first appeared on the Roblox platform in February of 2021, and though the official day it was made public is unknown, it seems to have begun picking up most of its steam around November of the same year. Many players reminisce about “the old Slap Battles” online, typically stating that the experience was at its peak in late 2021 or early 2022, and that it was the most fun to play back then.

Who created Slap Battles?
Slap Battles was created by a developer named Tencelll, or Ten for short, who has since expanded the Slap Battles team into multiple developers, administrators, and moderators. Ten also created the experience Obby but you’re a ball, which debuted on the platform in June of 2022, though it hasn’t received nearly as much success as Slap Battles.
When does Slap Battles update?
Slap Battles doesn’t seem to have any set update schedule, and is instead updated at random. These updates vary in size and what they add to experience, with some introducing new gloves and badges, and others simply fixing QOL issues and bugs.
