Everspace 2 is a stunning looter-shooter based in space where players get to cruise around in highly advanced combat spaceships while exploring, looting, and defeating swarms of enemies. It has deep ARPG elements, with the ability to craft, trade, and build loadouts to suit all kinds of gameplay styles. If you’re getting a new ship, you must equip it with the right weapons and devices to compliment its attributes and abilities. The following is a comprehensive list of all ship Devices and Weapons you can find, and how to obtain them in Everspace 2.

How to get ship Devices in Everspace 2

Devices in Everspace 2 are items which you can equip on your ship, and they act similar to abilities with a cooldown. They can be obtained by looting while exploring shipwrecks, containers, and abandoned stations, or purchased from certain Stations in exchange for credits. Devices are classified into two sections—Support Devices, and Warfare Devices. Support Devices provide defensive and maneuverability capabilities in battle, while Warfare Devices provide offensive abilities to support a player in the heat of battle.

Each Device can be upgraded with Upgrade Tokens up to four times to Master them and unlock three additional Modes which can add bonus attributes. Only one Device Mode can be active at a time. The following is a list of all Devices in Everspace 2, and how to get them.

All Support Devices in Everspace 2

Device Description How to get
Energized Boost Instantly catapults the player forward at a high speed for a short duration. • Installed automatically by Dax during From The Scratch story mission.
Missile Defense System Destroys all incoming missiles within 300 meters of the player’s radius for a certain duration. • Can be purchased from the Trading Hub at Anandra Bishop Starport for 2850 Credits.
Nano Transmitter Repair’s the ship’s hull for 20% of the damage dealt. • Can be purchased from the G&B Office and Hangar at Prescott Starbase for 2600 Credits.
Teleporter Instantly teleports the player 600 meters forward. Has two charges. • Can be purchased from the Union Bridge Trading Outpost for 2850 Credits.
Temporal Nano Recompensator Restores 40% of the armor damage taken in the last 12 seconds. • Can be purchased from the Rations Shop in Ayres Relay Station for 3050 Credits.
Fusion Hook Attaches to a surface within 2000 meters and pulls the player toward the attached surface at a high speed. • Found inside the Ancient Jar inside the Sealed Ancient Structure at the Ancient Depot located at the Dust Rim in Zharkov.
Front Shield Generator Deploys an impenetrable shield in front of the player’s ship for a certain duration. • Can be purchased from Ships & Supplies in the Coalition Cargo Terminal at Drake for 2650 Credits.

Device Description How to get
EMP Generator Releases an electromagnetic pulse around the ship, disabling all targets within 500 meters for a short duration. • Installed automatically by Dax during From The Scratch story mission.
Annihilator Virus Releases a virus that affects the target, and spreads to nearby enemies. After a short duration, all affected targets receive Kinetic and Energy damage. • Can be purchased from G&B Union Branch at Noah Damaris Starport for 2600 Credits.
Corrosion Injector Deals shield-piercing Kinetic damage to a target over time for a certain duration. • Can be purchased from The Flying Dutchess for 3100 Credits.
Magnetic Repulsor Pushes a target toward the aimed direction. Targets take 100% increased collision damage after being pushed for a short duration. Enemies more than two levels above player level cannot be targeted. Has up to two charges. • Can be purchased from the Colonial Research Station in Ceto Orbit for 2950 Credits.
Quantum Entangler All damage done to the player will be applied to the enemy target with 40% increased intensity for a certain duration. • Can be purchased the Nephtys Plains Station for 2650 Credits.

How to get Weapons in Everspace 2

Weapons in Everspace 2 are obtained by defeating enemies, or by looting containers and shipwrecks. Weapons can also be crafted in the Crafting menu by using resources once their blueprints are unlocked. All weapons have four quality tiers, and can have a certain number of unique perks that depend on the tier of the weapon. As you reach higher player levels, you will obtain higher tier weapons. Weapons are classified into two types—Primary Weapons, and Secondary Weapons. The following is a list of all the obtainable Weapons in Everspace 2.

Primary Weapon Description
Autocannon Fires high-speed projectiles that primarily deal Kinetic damage to targets. Has a short rev-up duration before firing.
Beam Laser Fires a continuous beam that reaches targets instantly, and deals moderate Kinetic and Energy damage.
Blaster Fires rapid energy spheres at targets dealing high Energy damage, with low range and accuracy.
Coil Gun Rapidly fires long-range projectiles that reach targets instantly. Deals both Kinetic and Energy damage.
Flak Slowly fires explosive projectiles that explode upon contact, or at the end of their range. Primarily deals Kinetic damage in an AoE.
Gauss Cannon Automatic cannon that slowly gains increased fire rate upon continuous firing. Deals high Kinetic and Energy damage.
Pulse Laser Rapidly fires energy projectiles that deal high Energy damage.
Rail Gun Long-range sniping weapon. Damage output can be increased by charging the shot before firing.
Scatter Gun Fires multiple projectiles that deal heavy Kinetic Damage. Has low-range.
Thermo Gun Rapidly fires homing long-range projectiles that deal high Energy damage.

Armorbreaker Missiles Homing missiles that track locked-on targets to deal massive Kinetic damage.
Destabilizer Missiles Homing missiles that track locked-on targets to weaken them for a certain duration, causing them to take bonus Kinetic and Energy damage for the duration of the effect.
Web Missiles Homing missiles that track locked-on targets to disable engine systems, causing them to slow down for the duration of the effect.
Corrosion Missiles Homing missiles that track locked-on targets to deal Kinetic damage over time. Can bypass Shields.
Cruise Missiles Long-range homing missiles that lock-on to targets to deal massive Kinetic and Energy damage in an AoE.
Rockets Fires high-speed projectiles that deal high damage to slow-moving targets. Cannot lock-on to targets.
Mines Fires an explosive mine that detonates when an enemy gets too close to them. Deals damage in a medium AoE.
Corrosion Mines Fires an explosive mine that detonates when an enemy gets too close to them. Deals Kinetic damage over time in an AoE that can bypass Shields.
Web Mines Fires an explosive mine that detonates when an enemy gets too close to them. Deals minor Kinetic damage to targets in an AoE, and applies a slowing effect.
