If you’ve reached Trailblaze Level 30, then you’ll notice that Honkai: Star Rail is ready to test you again with the Trial of the Equilibrium. This test is structured very similar to the first, but, it shouldn’t be a surprise that this Trial will push your team even farther. Did you have difficulty with the first trial and want help again? We’ve got you covered. Here’s our comprehensive guide for how to tackle the Trail of the Equilibrium, Part Two in Honkai: Star Rail.

How to beat Trial of the Equilibrium, Part Two in Honkai Star Rail

Even though you will not be able to raise your Trailblaze Level until after you’ve conquered the trial, we recommend that you wait to try and finish it until you have at least eight characters in your Roster built to Level 40. Like the First Equilibrium Trial, finishing this mission will cause your Equilibrium Level to rise, which will in turn raise the Levels of all enemies scattered around the world. Only take on this Trial if you are ready for that.

You can find the Trial nearby the entrance of the Corridor of Fading Echoes on Jarilo-VI. You’ll use one team for two separate fights, which have polar opposite weaknesses. The first fight is against a Guardian Shadow and two Imaginary Weavers at Level 39. They are weak to the Physical and Quantum Element. The second fight is against a Stormbringer, an Everwinter Shadewalker, and an Incineration Shadewalker, all at Level 39. These enemies can be taken down by Ice and Fire Element Characters.

Best Team Comps for Trial of the Equilibrium, Part Two in Honkai Star Rail

As Quantum characters are harder to come by, we recommend having at least one Physical character in your team for the first fight, then using Ice and Fire Characters. We used these four free four-star characters to win the fight:

  • Natasha, March 7th, Asta, Fire Trailblazer

Notice that there are three Sustaining characters in this Team Comp. That’s because no matter what level your characters are at or what element they are, surviving this Trial will be tricky, particularly the first fight. You could opt to use a well-built Physical Trailblazer, Sushang, Clara, or Seele in the place of the Fire Trailblazer or Asta to up your DPS potential, but, keep in mind that March 7th and the Fire Trailblazer share a lot of defensive synergy that is hard to pass up, and Natasha will almost be essential in any team you build to take on this challenge.

No matter what team you go with, we recommend starting by trying to pick of the smaller enemies—the Weavers and Shadewalkers—then focus on surviving while slowly chipping away at the bosses. While fighting, you should always save at least one skill point for emergency shields or healing, just in case.
