[ad_1]

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom features four different dragons, and, much to my delight, I got to hunt them all down. But locating them is not easy, as they are constantly on a changing flight patch as soon as they spawn. Light Dragon is definitely the one that interested me the most, both due to story purposes and the gains that go with slaying it. In this guide, we will help you locate the elusive creature and learn how to track it down.

The flight path of the Light Dragon in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

You must first learn its flight path to track down the Light Dragon in Tears of the Kingdom. As you can see in the image below, its area of flight is significantly larger than the other dragons, encompassing almost all of the surface map. Once it spawns, the Light Dragon will move around the map clockwise, taking two hours to complete this loop fully. Using this map as a reference will make your life of hunting the creature down significantly easier.

The easiest way of locating the Light Dragon in Tears of the Kingdom is by initiating the Recovering the Hero’s Sword quest while doing the main story progression, which rewards you with the repaired Master Sword. How to reach the Light Dragon in The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

Reaching the Light Dragon in TotK is fairly simple; just follow the steps below:

  • Pick a Skyview Tower you can access that crosses with the Light Dragon’s flight path.
  • Go to the Tower and wait for the Light Dragon to approach.
  • Once it is close enough, use the Zonai construct, like a modified Zonai Wing Glider, to approach it and then paraglide onto its back.

Before attempting this feat, be sure to have two full wheels of Stamina. Clearing the map fog will also go a long way in helping you, so you should complete this task first.
